Reload fonts without restarting Photoshop

Here is a quick and easy tip on how to reload your fonts in Photoshop without needing to close and re-open Photoshop.

Don't you just hate it when you have just installed a load of new fonts have notice that Photoshop hasn't picked them up because it was open when you installed them? Here is a quick and easy way which allows Photoshop to reload your fonts without needing to close and re-open Photoshop.

As shown in the screenshot to the right, click on the little menu drop down in the Character panel and select 'Reset Character'. You should now find your newly installed fonts in the font list in Photoshop.

Great little time saver!
